Dr. Jenisus Owens

Practice at Sage Health
Dr. Owens is a board-certified family physician with over a decade of experience in family medicine. She is responsible for advanced clinical oversight and high-quality care of Sage Health’s patients in the community. Dr. Owens chose family medicine for the broad spectrum and desire to help more people.
Dr. Owens was drawn to Sage Health for the focus on wholistic medicine and preventive care. She is deeply committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate care for adults facing acute and critical health challenges.
Experience
Throughout her career, her passion and focus are building trusting relationships with each of her patients. Dr. Owens dedicates time to each patient in developing individualized treatment and care management plans toward better health and life.
Dr. Owens grew up just south of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two children, reading, and watching movies.

Dr. Hudson is an internal medicine physician originally from Mississippi. He returned to his home state to continue providing world-class healthcare to fellow Mississippians.
Dr. Hudson joined Sage Health because he values expanding his comprehensive care and disease prevention to seniors in the community that aligns with Sage Health’s Care Model. He believes the best healthcare begins with open communication, building trust and partnering with his patients and their families to prevent disease and optimize wellness.
