About us.

There’s a reason why we take seniors’ healthcare personally. Sage Health was born following a personal experience that illustrated how seniors are often treated in today’s healthcare system.

Our CEO, John Haskell, found his calling when his father was hospitalized for over a month. During this time, his primary care provider was nowhere to be found. Specialists came in & out, some never read the medical records, and the hospital pharmacy accidentally over-dosed him while he was critically ill. No one was accountable for his well-being and the family had to intervene on his behalf.

Although he fully recovered, the experience had a lasting impact on John Haskell. Driven to ensure that other seniors would never be treated this way, he founded Sage Health.

Sage Health was founded in 2022, but our team has been serving seniors for many, many years. Our team has built over 50 senior-focused clinics in the past that now serve more than 60,000 seniors in communities across the United States.

Our Team

Our team believes seniors are the mainstay of society, and we dedicate Sage Health to them. We draw rare talent from across the country who are working together to build the new standard-bearing care model for seniors in the United States.

John set down a path to build the new standard-bearing senior healthcare model for the United States with a patient-centric focus unlike any other, ushering over a decade of leadership experience in senior-focused care delivery along with an all-star team passionate about value-based care.
