Dr. Sujit Kumar Kotapati MD, FAAFP, DABFM

Practice at Sage Health
As the family medicine physician for Sage Health in North Little Rock, Dr. Kotapati strives to deliver better quality, preventive care, and overall compressive patient care. Dr. Kotapati practices evidence-based medicine, focusing on preventive medicine, delivering practical treatment for chronic and acute care needs. He is excited to join Sage Health to help ensure that seniors in North Little Rock could receive the care they deserve - comprehensive, coordinated, high-quality, and cost-effective primary care that puts the patient at the center of every conversation.
Experience:
Dr. Kotapati relocated to Little Rock, Arkansas, three years ago from Bellingham, Washington, where he worked as a family practitioner at a primary care medical group. Dr. Kotapati has been a faculty member and a medical director at the UAMS Neighborhood clinic for two years. He is passionate about taking care of patients, as well as teaching medical students. He is trained as a Family Medicine physician, is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
With a background in business management and information systems, Dr. Kotapati strives to integrate information technology with medical knowledge to enhance patient care and prevent medical errors. He is interested in obesity management, value-based care, population-based approach, chronic disease management, depression associated with chronic diseases, non-opiate pain management, and involvement in health care leadership/advocacy groups, behavioral health and office procedures.
Dr. Kotapati strongly believes in the importance of research in primary care. He has presented many research projects at national and international conferences, covering topics such as the chronic care model, preventing hospital readmission, reducing the risk of falls in the elderly and the effects of adverse childhood experiences on patient health.
While away from the clinic, he enjoys wildlife photography, hiking, camping, traveling, computer coding, spending time with his wife — (a family physician), their two wonderful daughters and their dog Buddy.

Chandra Cox
Sage Health-Bryant, AR; Family Practice Nurse Practitioner
Chandra was born and raised in Saline County, Arkansas and has lived there for her entire life. She graduated Nursing School in 2018 from Baptist Health College Little Rock, and went on to receive her Master’s degree in nursing in 2022. She lives in Benton with her husband and 3 children. She enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and spending time with her family. Community health promotion and disease prevention are her focus in her role as a healthcare provider.

As the Nurse Practitioner for Sage Health in Bryant, Chandra Cox is responsible for clinical oversight and holistic care of our patients in the Central Arkansas region. She was excited to join Sage Health to help ensure that seniors in Saline County could receive the care that they deserve- comprehensive, coordinated, high-quality and cost-effective primary care that puts the patient at the center of every conversation.
Experience
Chandra was a registered nurse in an intensive care unit for 5 years. She saw there was a disconnect between the patient/provider relationship and decided to to help bridge that gap. She is passionate about taking care of patients and wants to help those she cares for live their best life and function at their highest physical, emotional, and spiritual potential.
